Job Description

The Department of Accounting at Illinois State University invites applications for one full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in accounting.

The Department of Accounting is AACSB accredited and provides a balanced emphasis on quality teaching, research, and service.

The successful candidate will have a primary teaching interest in accounting information systems with a secondary interest in auditing or financial accounting. The normal teaching load is nine credit hours per semester.

Required Qualifications

1. Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting or a closely related field. ABDs with substantial progress toward degree completion will be considered.
2. Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in English as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
