Job Summary
The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky is pleased to invite applications for position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a flexible start date (January 2024 or later). We invite experienced applicants with qualifications to teach and conduct research in any accounting discipline and research methodology.
We prefer that applicants at the Assistant Professor rank have at least three years of prior academic experience, a demonstrated record of publishing in top-tier accounting journals, and a desire to participate in doctoral education.
The Von Allmen School of Accountancy offers an outstanding research environment with a core of highly productive research-oriented faculty. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master of Science in Accounting, and a PhD in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. We have made considerable investments in enhancing these programs over the past several years. Along with the Gatton College, the Von Allmen School was re-accredited by the AACSB in 2022.
Applications must include the following: a letter of application (upload under cover letter), evidence of ongoing research (upload working papers under Specific Request 1), and a curriculum vitae.
