Summary
A Research Associate is available in the laboratory of Hongjie Li in the Huffington Center on Aging and Department of Molecular and Human Genetics. Hongjie Li’s lab focuses on developing and applying single-cell sequencing technologies to study aging and age-related diseases. https://www.bcm.edu/people-search/hongjie-li-66406
Job Duties
- Data analysis for transcriptomic, epigenomic and proteomic data
- Develop single-cell sequencing technologies
- Perform Drosophila genetics experiments
- Develop research projects on brain aging or age-related cancer
- Write and publish findings
- Conduct collaborative projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Basic Science or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree will not be accepted.
- Three years of relevant experience typically as a Research Assistant, Research Technician or Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD
- Experience with bioinformatics, single-cell sequencing, and/or proteomics.
