Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions in Cryo-EM Structural Biology or Cancer Biology

Weill Cornell Medicine, the medical college of Cornell University, located in the vibrant New York City, is seeking talented and motivated individuals for Postdoctoral Fellow positions. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed institution and contribute to cutting-edge research in the exciting areas: Cryo-EM Structural Biology or Cancer Biology.

The first research project focuses on investigating the structural biology of transmembrane receptors and signaling complexes, with a particular emphasis on GPCRs and single-pass transmembrane receptors. Candidates applying for this position should possess extensive experience in cryo-EM structural studies of membrane proteins. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with leading experts in the field.

The second research project centers around exploring the roles of fascin in cancer biology, including its involvement in tumor cells and intratumoral dendritic cells. We are seeking applicants with a strong background in mouse models of cancer to contribute to this exciting research area. This position offers the chance to make significant discoveries that may impact the understanding and treatment of cancer.

Weill Cornell Medicine: Founded in 1898, and affiliated with what is now New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH) since 1927, Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) is among the top-ranked clinical and medical research centers in the country. Weill Cornell Medical College has 1781 full-time faculty (3582 total faculty) distributed across 8 basic science and 15 clinical departments. WCM maintains major affiliations with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, The Rockefeller University, the Hospital for Special Surgery, as well as with the metropolitan-area institutions that constitute NYP Healthcare Network.

Salary Range (annually): $58,500– $69,996. Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The above salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
