- The Department of Biology at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a 1.5-year, non-tenure eligible specified-term visiting instructional position that will begin January 10, 2024 (Spring semester 2024 through AY 2024-2025). We seek an individual with expertise in organismal biology, ecology, and biostatistics who can teach an upper-level conservation biology course and a biostatistics course. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a [3-3] teaching load. - Qualifications
- Required: A Ph.D. in organismal biology/conservation biology or a closely related field is required at the time appointment begins (January 10, 2024). Preferred: Previous experience teaching undergraduate courses, postdoctoral research experience, and the ability to offer special topics courses in the areas of conservation biology/ecology will be viewed favorably.
