Summary

The University of Michigan, School of Nursing (UMSN) is seeking a Whitmore Lake Health Hub Project Manager who will provide project management support to the Associate Dean for Professional Practice and the establishment of the Whitmore Lake Health Hub.  The University of Michigan School of Nursing (UMSN), Northfield's Human Services (NHS), and Hamilton Community Health Network (HCHN) are partnering to improve health in the Whitmore Lake community by establishing the Whitmore Lake Health Hub (WLHH).  Our initiatives include both community-level health interventions as well as direct delivery of healthcare services. This position requires broad and comprehensive experience including the ability to perform a variety of project management and administrative activities. The Whitmore Lake Health Hub Project Manager will report directly to the Associate Dean for Professional Practice.  Supervision is received from the Associate Dean for Professional Practice.

This is a part-time, term-limited position due to salary funded on a grant.

Responsibilities*

* Serve as the primary point of contact for the proposed initiatives.

* Responsible for the implementation, ongoing evaluation and growth of the WLHH, the Whitmore Lake Health Hub Project Manager will convene the partners and guide each partner's implementation of the work plan, as approved by the Michigan Medicine Office of Community Health Services (the funder). The Whitmore Lake Health Hub Project Manager will be responsible for measuring the impact of the interventions offered through the WLHH including, data collection, data analysis and reporting of outcomes.

* Work closely with the UMSN Associate Dean for Professional Practice to support UMSN faculty and student engagement in the Whitmore Lake Health Hub. The Whitmore Lake Health Hub Project Manager will also work closely with key personnel at Northfield's Human Services and Hamilton Community Health Network to assure that each partner's efforts are coordinated with one another.

* Serve as first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders when questions or issues arise.

* Facilitate UMSN faculty and student engagement in the proposal.

* Responsible for convening quarterly partner meetings to assure ongoing growth of the partnership.  Including but not limited to coordinating with the partners to identify a mutually agreeable time, set the agenda for the meeting, facilitate the meeting and ensure action steps are identified and implemented subsequent to the meeting.

* Responsible for assuring evaluation metrics are tracked and reported back to the funder, utilizing Qualtrics survey delivery, tracking of data in Excel, engagement with Hamilton Community Health Network to obtain reporting from their electronic health record, and presenting outcomes in both written (Word) and visual (PPT) formats.

Required Qualifications*

*A Bachelor's degree is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

*A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a progressively responsible administrative and/or project management role.

*Demonstrated interpersonal skills with superior ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

*Advanced to expert level in the use of Qualtrics, Zoom and Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

*Superior organizational skills are required.

*Prior M-Pathways Procurement and Concur system experience is preferred.

*Working knowledge of applicable University policies and procedures is preferred.

*Excellent analytical and independent problem-solving skills required.

*Must have a flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to work successfully in a team environment.

*Ability and willingness to serve diverse populations.

*Demonstrated ability to set priorities and balance multiple projects with high-level accuracy in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment while providing high quality customer service.

*Must have a professional demeanor and presentation of self and strong decision-making ability.

Additional Information

The target salary range for this position is up to a maximum of $50,225 per year (based on a full-time salary rate of $71,750) due to salary funded on a grant. The actual salary determined will be based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate and may be less than the maximum. This is a part-time term-limited position.
