Position Highlights | The Zhang lab, an internationally recognized leading group in the field of the NRF2-KEAP1-ARE signaling pathway is welcoming applicants at all levels (postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and technicians). The main focus of the Zhang group is to characterize the molecular bases of diseases assocaited with arsenic exposure, and to identify ways in which NRF2, as well as the other NRF protein family members (NRF1 and NRF3), can be effectively harnessed to prevent or treat lung cancer and type II diabetes. Applicants should be highly motivated and exhibit an enthusiasm and passion for science, including the ability to think independently and progress mulitple projects, maintain a good track record of publications, and display a level of expertise and proficiency in basic cellular and molecular biology techniques.
