The Instructional Support Data Analyst develops and maintains regular reports to monitor the effectiveness of tutoring and instructional support efforts and provides critical data and information to other campus departments.

• Develop and maintain regular reports monitoring all tutoring efforts and initiatives

• Assist with the development and upkeep of the tutoring app to ensure effectiveness and precise data input and output

• Assist Director of Instructional Support with tutor schedules each term and make modifications when necessary

• Supervise and evaluate online tutoring sessions

• Conduct outreach communication to students and maintain a student communication platform to inform students of tutoring programs and resources available

• Develop and deliver tutoring reports to faculty as part of the Mandatory Tutoring initiative and Supplemental Instruction

• Actively collect data and assist with data analysis for tutoring and library services

• Work closely with the Director of Instructional Support to gather any necessary data to increase and expand all tutoring initiatives, including Drop-In Tutoring, Mandatory Tutoring, Test-Preparation Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction and Advanced Supplemental Instruction.

• Participate in college committees and initiatives

• Assist with tutoring and SI training development and implementation

• Perform related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required

• Assist office of Institutional Effectiveness with data projects related to student retention, persistence and completion

• Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

Ability to gather and analyze data efficiently; work collaboratively and effectively across disciplinary boundaries with faculty, students and staff; provide timely reports to faculty and maintain good working relationships; ability to use a variety of data analytics software programs to produce reliable data information.
