Job Description

The Director of Academic Support is responsible for the academic support services, which include the Cyber Library, Tutoring and Writing Center, Accommodation Services, Test Center and Veteran’s Center. They must be knowledgeable on ADA/504 Compliance. This position manages progress reports, academic interventions, student success assessment, and online new student orientation. This position focuses on creating data-driven initiatives that would increase academic success and non-cognitive skills.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, plus 3 years of experience in an applicable role.
  • Strong communication, research, and project management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little supervision and can make decisions in matters of significance.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, to meet deadlines, to maintain and access paper and electronic files, to produce error-free final products, and to manage time and output.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred.

 

Physical Demands
  • Work in a normal office setting
  • Can lift up to 10lbs.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.

$50,000
