Job Description
Summary
Dr. Botta will be involved in exploring the regulation of protein degradation in the endoplasmic reticulum in health and cardiovascular disease. Specifically, she will perform a screening study that may lead to the identification of inhibitors of protein degradation machinery in vitro. She will also generate mouse models to study the drug effect in vivo, which will include animal breeding, injection and phenotyping for metabolism, behavior and cell biology.

Background Screening
