The Veterinary Health Complex provides tertiary care for a wide variety of animal species and serves as an environment for training veterinary students, specialty training for interns and residents, and conducting clinical research. Essential Job Duties

The Client Services Representatives position provides customer service to Veterinary Health Complex (VHC) clients and acts as the first point of contact for all potential and current clients.

The Client Services Representative position ensures excellent customer service to current and potential clients as well as referring veterinarians to the Emergency Room.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Checking in clients, answering phone calls, making appointments, and processing deposits and payments;
  • Working closely with internal and external clients as well as referring veterinarians to answer any questions or concerns;
  • Taking detailed consult and referral information from referring veterinarians;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple incoming phone lines is crucial to this position.

Minimum Experience/Education

High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Other Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MS Office products, email, fax, and copy machines;
  • Previous client service experience in a veterinary or medical setting;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client services experience in a veterinary setting.
