Job Description
DIRECTOR FOR FELLOWSHIPS AND GLOBAL INITIATIVES, Sloan School of Management-Legatum Center, to play a critical role in helping the Legatum Center fulfill its mission and to support the executive director with the overall execution of the center’s new long-term expansion strategy. The focus of the role will be to grow the Legatum Center’s footprint around the world by developing vehicles for the global dissemination of its unique content and knowledge, in addition to expanding its fellowship offerings and creating new programming of relevance to its mission. Will have a leadership role in leveraging the center’s key stakeholders (external and internal) to develop and execute center programming focused on building “on the ground” entrepreneurial capacity (e.g., boot camps, partnership building, etc.) and in turn accelerate entrepreneurial ecosystem building across frontier markets globally.

REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree; at least five years of experience in program management and building out communities/networks; experience working in higher education and with entrepreneurs; experience working in an emerging market; a proven record of successful program management and the ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects from various partners simultaneously; experience overseeing fellowship programs for professionals; a process-focused approach creating systematic solutions to open-ended challenges, and a desire to design and execute new programing of relevance to the center. PREFERRED: a master’s degree and experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, especially within emerging markets. Job #22795-10
