Job Summary
This position is for a researcher with PhD degree and a background and international publication history in 3d printing polyaryletherketones. The successful canddate will be responsible for conducting independent research on 3D printing porous PAEKs, supervising graduate and undergraduate researchers, and assisting with biomedical AM courses.
Essential Functions
Conceive and design 3D printed product prototypes for biomechanical test models.
Design 3D printed products by collaborating with cross-functional resources including materials, software, and 3D process development teams.
Simulate real world conditions and measure outputs using sensors.
Define procedures to evaluate product performance and conduct bench top testing and Document test protocols and standard lab operating procedures.
Perform statistical data analysis and interpretation.
Collaborate with IRC director and staff on research and test plans.
Communicate with professionals in the field at all levels and transition information into research improvement.
Duties will also include biomedical 3D printing support in R&D.
Required Qualifications
PhD or Doctorate, Biomedical Engineering or related
1 year experience
Preferred Qualifications
Mastery of complex systems with sound mechanical principles.
Extraordinary problem solving issues with attention to detail
