Job context:

A postdoctoral researcher position is available under the direction of Dr. Ryan Beveridge at the Center for Training, Evaluation, and Community Collaboration (C-TECC; www.ctecc.net ). The postdoctoral researcher will be an integral part of C-TECC?s leadership team by managing existing projects (detailed at www.ctecc.net ) and planning for and developing new projects. This work includes a variety of duties such as coordinating relationships with partners, supervising graduate students and research assistants, managing budgets, designing and conducting research/evaluation, assisting with grant applications, writing reports/manuscripts, and representing the Center at community partner events and professional conferences. Opportunities for supervision provision through C-TECC and the University's Psychological Services Training Center (PSTC) may also be available. The position is fully funded via contracts and grants to C-TECC from various funding agencies. The position is temporary and may be renewed on a 12-month basis.

Responsibilities:

? Makes decisions, recommendations, and conclusions that have an impact on scientific and clinical activities both at UD as well as at various partner sites.

? Travels to dissemination sites to train new personnel on relevant evaluation and clinical project protocols.

? Independently conducts supervision with Center personnel on the administration of the Center?s various projects. Oversees the assessment and regular monitoring of staff performance and provides relevant feedback.

? Assesses the quality of data collection and intervention implementation at various project sites and meets with director/associate director to discuss questions, problems or concerns. Provides solutions, suggestions, or alternatives to director/associate director in order to ensure the best quality of data collection.

? Conceptualizes and conducts analyses of quantitative, multivariate, longitudinal data using SPSS or similar statistical software packages, applies appropriate statistical techniques and interprets findings. Ensures data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance. Prepares research findings, analyses, reports, graphs, and other documentation for publication in national peer-reviewed journals.

? Assists in identifying external funding in order to establish and maintain a strong community research and service delivery agenda as well as to develop and initiate new areas of funding for the Center. As directed, assists in writing funding applications and prepares reports required by granting agencies.

? Develops and maintains relationships with funders, community providers, scientists, and other C-TECC partners. Travels to local, national, and/or international meetings to coordinate with partners, network, and present on C-TECC projects and findings.

? Serves as a clinical and evaluation consultant to Research Assistants, Graduate Students, Undergraduate Research Assistants, and Faculty researchers at Delaware and other institutions.

? Provides direct clinical services on C-TECC projects, or supervises C-TECC or PSTC students who are performing clinical work.? Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

? Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field

? Experience with evidence based practice, ideally in development, delivery, and training/supervision.

? Experience working with families at-risk for multiple adverse outcomes.

? Expertise in clinical science and research.

? Knowledge of scientific approach, methodologies, and scientific research principles, practices, and protocols in order to design, organize, and coordinate scientific research projects.

? Ability to develop scientific reports, proposals, and publications on research using advanced computer statistical and technical applications, and advanced writing skills resulting in a record of peer-reviewed publications.

? Ability to use independent judgment to adapt and modify research concepts and approaches to specific projects; ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects; and ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on research data to the Center as well as multiple community stakeholders.

? Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management preferred.

? Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

? Skill in educating others in clinical service delivery, program evaluation, and research methods. Experience in supervising manuscript preparation and writing strongly preferred.

? Interviewing skills preferred.

? Spanish-speaking preferred.
