Essential Job Duties

The HR Specialist serves as a business partner for assigned units and provides advice, guidance, and counsel on a variety of HR matters for all position types (permanent and temporary SHRA, EHRA Non-Faculty, Faculty, unpaid interns and visiting scholars) to include, but not limited to, recruitment and classification and compensation. This position works proactively to anticipate needs and future challenges for its assigned units and provide expertise and guidance on how to navigate complex HR issues to mitigate risks.
