Summary of Position
Under general supervision of designated supervisor, perform a variety of duties in support of NH Sea Grant Extension, Education, and Administrative programs, using independent judgment in applying/adapting UNH and Sea Grant guidelines, policies and procedures.

- Advanced computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, database management, website updates, and virtual meeting platforms (examples: Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Sharepoint, Qualtrics, Salesforce, Drupal, Zoom)
- Experience with event coordination and management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and the general public
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to take campus-sponsored, work-related short courses and an eagerness to engage in professional development opportunities
- Values diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Additional Preferred Qualifications

Duty/Responsibility
Perform a wide array of complex responsibilities in support of NH Sea Grant program activities, project planning and monitoring, specialized communications, and special projects. Arrange schedules, appointments, conference calls, and meetings, and make complex travel arrangements.

Organize conferences and events related to NH Sea Grant programming, including coordinating staffing and technical support, facilities, registration, and catering; monitoring budgets; and providing information to participants and volunteers.

Coordinate and oversee day-to-day office activities, including management of supplies, equipment, and the physical footprint of the office and conference rooms.

Assist with budget development and monitoring; process payments and transfer transactions; purchase supplies, services, and equipment; and produce financial reports as assigned.

Provide and/or supervise entry and retrieval of appropriate data, including invoices/payments related to areas of responsibility, utilizing existing programs, and monitoring budgets as required.
