The Computer Science Department in the School of Computer Science is searching for a Research Assistant Intern to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. The internship will take place during the summer semester 2023.  In this role, you will learn about core topics in computer science by testing our TEEL educational materials.  You will develop knowledge and hands-on skills in core CS topics, such as introductory-level programming.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with various course materials prepared by the TEEL Lab and critically evaluate the materials and prepare written reports.
  • Work with project post-doc Jaromir Savelka in the Computer Science Department, learning about the project-based learning process.
  • Regularly meet with the supervisor, at least once a week as well as on an as-needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
