Job Description

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Hospitality Exec Associate within The Morris Inn. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

Why this position?
The role of the the Hospitality Executive Associate will support the Executive Director of Hospitality and General Manager of the Morris Inn in achieving the strategic goals of Notre Dame Hospitality. Specifically, this position will serve as caretaker and concierge of the Morris Inn and McKenna Hall. Responsibilities include, but not limited to student, guest and employee engagement, ensuring the Morris Inn & McKenna Hall experience is personal, consistent with ND values and mission, and, through partnership with the Morris Inn Operations & Enrollment teams, physically representative of a four diamond hotel. This position will educate Hospitality colleauges on the UEE Global Service Standards, University current events, and hospitality best practices. Moreover, the position will work with the Executive Director and recruitment teams to ensure effective hiring and retention of Hospitality colelagues. Finally, the position will provide mentorship to UEE staff members, develop a retention program to show appreciation, and work directly with hospitality leaders to achieve the department’s OKR’s.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid after 90 and 180 days of continuous employment). Candidates are only eligible if they are a new employee to the University – current Notre Dame employees who transfer are not eligible. Other rules and conditions apply.
