Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

This postdoctoral research fellow will conduct original research to support the Collins research groups activities related to additive manufacturing, materials characterization, materials modeling, and gradient materials.  Specifically, this individual will work on the processing, characterization, and modeling of non-ferrous structural metals where the orientation (texture) plays an important role in the mechanical behavior of the specimens.  This individual will conduct experimental research, data analysis, prepare data, publications, and presentations for both sponsors and discipline specific technical meetings.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

 PhD
 

•  PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field.
•     Demonstrated experience in materials characterization
•     Demonstrated experience in materials processing

June 30, 2024

12 Month Work Period
