Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm


Job Summary: Under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee, The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the Ph.D. or other doctoral degree.


Additional Department Summary: Post-Doc will be working on a multi-site clinical trial funded by PCORI. The purpose of the trial is to test effectiveness of a mindfulness-based therapy for autistic adolescents and adults in the context of a large hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial. The ideal candidate will have experience with the treatment of mental health problems in autistic adolescents and adults. The person will receive extensive training in both the Unified Protocol and the Emotion Awareness and Skills Enhancement Program. There are ample opportunities for grantsmanship training and support with securing independent funding, publication, and supervision of clinical work toward licensure.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate. Additional qualifications based on assignment.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Data analytic skills (SPSS, SAS, R)


Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Experience with direct intervention and provider training.
