Job Description

Summary

Install and operate newly purchased laboratory equipment for the Fluid Lab and for the Thermal Lab and create operation documentation.

Responsibilities*

Responsibilities may include:

  • Review equipment operational instructions
  • Install equipment in the appropriate lab
  • Set the equipment to conduct experiment(s) as prescribed by the CIT faculty
  • Conduct experiments(s)
  • Document test repeatability
  • Document experiment procedures
  • Create equipment operation videos

Required Qualifications*

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with engineering lab equipment installation and operation
  • Experience in ANSYS software to run Computational Fluid Dynamics programs

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience in developing instructional videos
  • Familiarity of CFD
  • Familiarity with Fluid Lab procedures
