Adjunct Faculty - Accounting (Quickbooks Instructor)
Job Description
Responsibilities include teaching college courses in QuickBooks and other Technical Accounting classes. Classes scheduled during the day on campus and online, depending on enrollment.

- Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes, program level outcomes, and marketable skill achievement.
- Focuses teaching and outreach efforts on student success.
Required Education
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Associate Degree in Accounting with three years industry experience.
Required Skills & Abilities
- High level of proficiency with QuickBooks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office Proficient
- Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences
- Ability to teach students
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Current industry certification in QuickBooks.
Knowledge of online delivery methods, principles and techniques
Knowledge of online delivery methods, principles and techniques
Required Experience
Work experience in any of the following areas: bookkeeping, auditing, forensic accounting, managerial accounting or staff accounting. Using QuickBooks.
Preferred Experience
4+ years related work experience
Community college and or Public School teaching experience.
Online curriculum development and online teaching experience.

Finalists will be required to present a 15 minute teaching segment on the accounting subject of their choice.
