Summary

The accompanist attends all rehearsal and performances of the Chamber singers and provides piano accompaniment as requested by the conductor of the group, and assists with sectional rehearsals as needed. 

What You'll Do

• 90%    Provide piano accompaniment for rehearsals
• 10%    Provide piano accompaniment for performances

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor of Arts in Music or comparable professional experience as a piano accompanist.  A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and previous collaborative experience within the realm of choral music. Strong sight-reading is preferred. Effective teaching skills will be an asset for the successful candidate.

Desired Qualifications*

A strong working knowledge of the voice and of contemporary and traditional choral repertoire. 

Work Schedule

The choir meets Monday/Wednesday 12:30-1:45 with performances in October, November, and December.
