What We Want

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for working in the Sarkar Lab, producing and analyzing data related to molecular biology. This position will also be responsible for writing papers on research findings and training graduate students on lab procedures. What You Need to Know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Appropriate PhD.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • PhD in molecular biology

  • Experience with working on mouse models, cancer biology, and/or bioinformatics

Responsibilities:

  • Research Experiment: Conducts research experiments in the lab.

  • Documentation: Analyzes, produces, and documents data. Writes papers.

  • Lab Duties: Purchases supplies, research equipment maintenance, and maintains a safe working environment. Trains graduate students and performs other duties as assigned.
