This is a post-doctoral position for a one year fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University. 

The selected candidate will be working at the Department of Biological Sciences in the Hiller Lab. The project builds on our previous work on the molecular mechanisms of cell-cell communication in Streptococcus pneumoniae. We are looking for somebody that has extensive experience with Gram-positive peptide-mediated communication systems and expertise in bacteriology, molecular biology, transcriptional studies, and cell culture techniques. The candidate will study the coordination of multiple communication systems.

Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or related field.
