Position Summary
The Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research conducts basic science and translational research within the Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. The Wells Center houses more than 200 faculty investigators, staff, and trainees seeking answers to the most pressing questions related to childhood illness.
With the collaboration between scientists and physicians, the center aims to increase knowledge of causes and mechanisms of serious pediatric diseases. Our goal is to develop innovative approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of sick children in Indiana and beyond.
Applications are invited for research on NIH-funded projects on the role of transcriptional coregulators in pancreas development and function using in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo techniques. 
This Assistant Research Professor position will be based in the lab of Jason Spaeth (https://jspaeth4.wixsite.com/spaethlab ) at Indiana University School of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics Endocrinology Basic Research. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced scientist with wet-lab skills, mouse model generation, phenotype characterization, and a strong interest in multi-omics approaches. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the core areas of the group’s research; a track record of publications; past independent postdoctoral funding; and commitment to work to the highest standards.

Basic Qualifications
Doctoral or Terminal Degree required in biological sciences or related field 
+4 years of postdoc training is preferred
