Position Summary | The laboratory of Dr. Meijing Wang, within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated and independent post-doctoral fellow to study sex-related mechanisms in septic cardiomyopathy, with focus on cardiac mitochondrial response to inflammation using cell culture and murine models. Ongoing projects include molecular basis for sex dependent mitochondrial function in septic cardiomyopathy and single cell atlas of resident immune cells in the heart.
