Creighton University’s Honors Program within the College of Arts and Sciences at Creighton University is hiring for a full-time Postdoctoral teaching fellow. This is a non-tenure track position beginning in August 2023, renewable at the college’s discretion each year for up to three years. The candidate will be expected to teach three sections Honors Foundational Sequence and one upper-division Honors Sources and methods course per year. The successful candidate should be able to teach Honors 100 (ancient thought and beginning of the Christian intellectual tradition) and at least one more course in the Foundational Sequence. The ideal person for this role is committed to being an outstanding teaching within a primarily undergraduate institution.

·       A PhD in a humanities discipline is required

·       Evidence of excellent teaching and scholarly potential required

·       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations
