YesJob Summary
*Perform office duties as assigned, including assisting with equipment inventory, paperwork filing, retrieving office mail, etc.; Assist Dean’s Office staff as needed
*Assist with setup for events; Place room and equipment reservations; Place catering orders; Alert facilities of any custodial issues or repairs needed to be made by maintenance
*Assist with marketing efforts for School programs and events; Set up School information tables at events and talk to students about SACM programs; Demonstrate oral, written, and listening skills in order to assist students with questions and referrals; Compile and type correspondence, reports, and minutes from written or dictated material; Answer calls and make phone calls as assigned; Greet office visitors and assist with general questions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Salt Lake Community College Student.
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Some flexible hours may be required
