Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding an Administrative Assistant to their L. Warner Companies team in Timonium, MD.

The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant would be focused around support of Private Clients and Account Management conducive to generating new business as well as maintain existing business. Under minimal supervision, this employee performs technical office support functions to include a broad working knowledge of standard office equipment, department operations and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Demonstrate good judgment in knowing when to handle a problem or refer it to a higher level.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct Policy Checking & Issuance of Certificates of Insurance as needed.
  • Assist Account Managers with materials and presentations needed for prospect and renewal meetings
  • Provide Administrative support to Sales team and Account Management as assigned
  • Coordinate meetings/visits with carriers and clients as needed
  • Keep immediate supervisor well-informed of activities, results of efforts and problems identified/potential problems; recommends corrective actions to immediate supervisor

Competencies and Qualifications

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Underwriting is a plus
  • Two plus years of executive/administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products
  • Demonstrate polished interpersonal skills, high energy and flexibility
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Administrative Support: 2 years (Preferred)
