Accounting, Adjunct Instructor (Primarily In-Person)
Job Description
Responsibilities and Impact: The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Accounting seeks applicants for temporary Adjunct Instructors to teach the following courses for the spring semester, starting in January 2024, in a new satellite location on the DMACC urban campus. These courses will primarily be in-person and in Des Moines, Iowa. Successful candidates must have demonstrated experience and expertise in the relevant field. Courses include:
- Accounting Information Systems
- Intermediate Accounting, I & II
- Cost Accounting
- Auditing
- Income Tax
Position Requirements: Master's of Accountancy, MBA, related master's degree in the area of specialization or professional credentials with significant work experience that warrants approval from accrediting bodies; evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills.
