Position Qualification
Position Summary | The individual hired for this position will be responsible for carrying out a variety of cell culture, molecular biology and genomic studies focused on understanding the interaction between the B cell receptor and estrogen receptor signaling pathways in B cells. This individual will also be involved in genomic studies of pathogenic B cells using cells derived from a mouse model of lupus and human lupus patients. |

Required Qualifications | PhD or MD/PhD degree in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics/Genomics, Immunology, or a related discipline. A strong background at both the conceptual and experimental level in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, immunology, and flow cytometry is mandatory. Integrity, honesty, a commitment to rigorous research and intellectual engagement in the work. The ability to collaborate, to work independently, and the willingness to seek guidance and assistance when needed. |
Supplemental Qualifications | Experience with the isolation and culture of primary immune cells, complex flow cytometry and cell sorting, next-generation sequencing and data analysis is preferred. |
