Essential functions (job duties):

Post-doctoral Research Fellowship Program: Infectious Diseases Health Outcomes
Essential Functions (Job Duties):
1. Design and execution of antimicrobial health outcomes assessment, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic,
pharmacoeconomic and antimicrobial stewardship research studies in patients as directed
a. Includes the development of research protocols
b. Human Investigation applications and amendments
c. Recruitment of study patients, study sites/data collection
2. Analysis of patient data, including epidemiologic, molecular, antimicrobial susceptibility and antimicrobial surveillance data, specific patient antimicrobial exposure, drug concentrations, and toxicities
3. Perform research data analysis, assist in grant preparation, report writing, abstract preparation and presentation, manuscript writing and journal manuscript review. Completion of these tasks according to a mutually agreed upon schedule
4. Develop and maintain research databases for the collection and analysis of data
5. Provide supervision of pharmacy students on infectious diseases clinical rotations and elective research directed rotations as directed
6. Contribute 2-4 hours of didactic lectures to Pharm.D. students and participate in-patient problem-solving courses under the supervision of fellowship directors as needed


Qualifications:

PharmD degree and 1-2 years of an ASHP accredited clinical pharmacy residency program.
