STRONG STAR Research Team Therapist

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio has an opening for a Therapist to serve on the Strong Families research team. This position will hold a faculty appointment of Specialist (Non-Tenure Track).
Selected applicant will serve as a therapist on the Strong Families research team providing prevention services and evidence-based PTSD treatment to military service members, veterans, and their families. STRONG STAR studies focus on novel non-pharmacological and interdisciplinary treatments, so the position will include training in manualized interventions from national field leaders, expert consultation in novel treatment delivery, and occasional assessment of adherence to manualized protocols. STRONG STAR regularly includes early-career trainees in its research programs, so this position will likely have opportunities to train and supervise Psychology Interns and Postdoctoral Fellows.
