Description
Prof. Yao Wang's group invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow at Clemson University, Department of Physics and Astronomy. This position comes with a competitive salary, university benefits, and travel funds for conferences. Postdocs will have the opportunity to co-instruct a course, and will also benefit from collaborations with experimental groups at multiple universities and national laboratories.
About the Wang Lab:
The research of the Wang group lies in elucidating quantum many-body systems using state-of-the-art computational techniques. We are particularly interested in bridging the experimental observations with theoretical models. Our interest also extends to the connection with analog quantum simulations and quantum algorithms.

Qualifications
All candidates with solid-state physics and computational physics are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates with one of the following experiences: (1) numerical simulation of strongly correlated systems, including the dynamical and excited-state properties; (2) numerical analysis of electron-phonon coupling using first-principles and/or many-body methods; (3) numerical simulation of solid-state spectroscopy like ARPES and RIXS.
