Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The postdoc research associate will perform experimental, statistical, and process-based research on corn yield response to nitrogen fertilizer, plant density and hybrids. The objectives are to rank maize hybrids with respect to their optimum nitrogen requirements, and estimate nitrogen use efficiencies for sustainability assessments. The postdoc researcher is expected to write publications and coordinate the overall project.


Required Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in crop science or related fields.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data analysis and development of peer-reviewed publications.
  • Expertise in managing multiple experiments.
  • Expertise in field data collection.
  • Expertise in conducting field days and presenting research to a range of stakeholders
