Position Summary

A post-doctoral research associate is sought to undertake the analysis and presentation of PET and MRI data in patients with multiple sclerosis. Primary responsibilities include organization of data, development and deployment of analytic tools, preparing and presenting results.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data organization and compliance: Maintain imaging and clinical data in a manner that is compatible with the research aims and complies with appropriate regulations.
  • Image processing: Develop and implement tools to process images in a way that accomplishes the goals set out with guidance from the PI.
  • Preparation of results for dissemination: Prepare figures and text reporting the scientific results for review with the PI.
  • Supervision of research technicians: Provide supervision and technical assistance to junior members of the lab.
  • Development of independent research activities: Develop independent research questions and pursue research funding to advance the post-doctoral scholar’s career.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MRI or PET data.

Working Conditions

Office based with work from home opportunities. This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
