Job Title: Assistant Softball Coach
Department: Athletics Reports to: Head Softball Coach/Director of Athletics
Location: Marshalltown Community College, Marshalltown, IA Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Head Softball Coach, aid in the direction and supervision to a competitive NJCAA DI Softball program. The successful candidate will strive to provide a quality successful environment that will support student-athlete success on the field and in the classroom. The coach will seek to develop positive relationships on campus as well as in the community. Job Duties:
Education and Experience: Associate's degree preferred, coaching experience required. Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver license required Class C Passenger CDL required or ability to obtain. Abilities: Knowledge of and ability to follow college, ICCAC, and NJCAA policies and procedures. Knowledge of intercollegiate Softball program. Ability to relate to a diverse population and to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations. Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems and to maintain strict confidentiality related to sensitive information. |
