Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Workforce Development reports to the Director of Workforce Development. The Assistant Director has responsibility for instructional program development, course and program assessment, and management of program delivery. In addition, the individual will assist in hiring and scheduling of assigned courses and programs. The Assistant Director will utilize data to identify, recommend and create new noncredit programs. They will work with the Director, Associate Director and others to meet the department objectives and sales goals.
The Assistant Director will work collaboratively with the college community, external college partners, employers, and other members of the community to successfully implement programs. The individual will use independent judgement while taking initiative in the preparation and completion of assignments.

Qualifications - Education
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications - Experience
2-3 years of experience in curriculum development and assessment required. Prior experience in managing programs with supervisory responsibilities desired.
