POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director is a seasoned writer responsible for increasing awareness of philanthropic impact, engagement, opportunities and donor recognition for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation. This position will have the primary duty of illustrating the role of philanthropy through donor centric impact stories, solicitations, marketing materials, acknowledgement letters, donor recognition programs and stewardship materials for donors, staff and supporters of JHACH.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Hours: 8:30a-5:00p

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of writing experience in fundraising communications, print/online journalism,
marketing communications or related experience, with 2 years minimum of staff and/or project management
experience
  • Must have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft products
  • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, confidentiality and public speaking skills
  • Must have own transportation (to travel to events)
