Adjunct Faculty - College Composition (On Campus)

Job Description

 

Manchester Community College anticipates openings for adjunct instructors to teach courses in the English, Humanities and Languages department. .

Specific needs include instructors for College Composition - to be taught on-campus.

Qualified candidates must possess a Masters degree in English or Communications and have 2 or more years of teaching experience

Preference is given to those with higher education teaching experience, who have used a learning management system (such as Blackboard or Canvas), and who are engaged in community service. Although we are accepting applications, we do not have an immediate need for all disciplines. Your information will stay on file and active.

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

The compensation rate is $699.00 - $862.00 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
