The Community Habilitation & Respite Manager directly oversees the delivery of Community Habilitation and Respite services, including supervision and training of staff, assessing participants needs and ensuring that appropriate quality services are provided. This is an exciting position with growth potential. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is able to meet deadlines while managing his or her own schedule. Good people skills, good writing skills and attention to detail should be in your professional toolbox.

Community Habilitation & Respite Manager Responsibilities

• Must be able to monitor and assess the delivery of services.
• Must be able to conduct on-site visits to ensure services are provided.
• Must be able to effectively supervise others.
• Must be available as needed to address emergency situations.
• Must be able to learn to use electronic record keeping.
• Must be able to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Must be able to interview and train new staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Community Habilitation & Respite Manager should have at least three years of experience supporting people with autism and developmental disabilities. Leadership experience is necessary for this position. A driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.
