Job Title
Project Manager, President's Office NBU

Job Function
Manages a variety of complex projects related to the College’s institutional initiatives (Planning, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access), Title IX). Engages broad stakeholders to provide support, transparency, and accountability for institutional initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages, coordinates, researches, develops, and disseminates various projects as assigned
  • Maintains accurate project information systems and accounting of activities
  • Provides project management, as needed, to ensure college initiatives
  • Manages projects through the President’s Office initiatives
  • Acts as liaison and represents the Executive Director on committees
  • Coordinates and compiles information regarding college initiatives specific to IDEA and Title IX
  • Develops and maintains continuous improvement to the institutional initiatives
  • Updates projects regularly according to schedule
  • Participates in research and preparation of written documents, special projects, etc.
  • Collaborates with Executive Directors’ input on new plans and processes
  • Manages and uses reporting system
  • Supports in the continuous re-evaluation and action needed for positive change in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access.
  • Aids in the development of an organizational structure dedicated to supporting Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access.
  • Supports Title IX in ongoing processes and mandates
  • Maintains accurate project information systems and accounting of activities including the development of relevant reports
  • Perform related duties as assigned

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Executive Director, President’s Office and the Executive Director of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access and Title IX Coordinator

SUPERVISION GIVEN: May supervise full and part time staff.

Education
Bachelor’s degree required.

Preliminary Qualifications
Certification in Project management or Higher Education leadership will be an asset. Training and education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Cultural Competence, and/or anti-bias education is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications
Five years related to the functions & responsibilities of the position. Must demonstrate an understanding of higher education organizations and functions. Experience in gathering background information, resource materials, and project management. Experience in management of projects with an emphasis in Diversity and Inclusion and Title IX is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to plan and manage complex projects with limited direction, and follow through to completion. Ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple and diverse constituencies. Analytical ability. Written/Verbal Presentation Skills: documented or demonstrated skills or experience which verify professional communication ability. Strong Technological Proficiency: Knowledge of the use of technology for office and management tasks. Research: Evidence of skill in conducting Internet research and extracting relevant information from a variety of sources.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

 
Work Hours
To be scheduled by the department as needed, but not to exceed 40 hours per week. Days and hours may vary and may include evenings and weekends.

Salary
$60,931 - $74,000
