Description

To perform research under the direction of Dr. Afghah in collaboration with Dr. Guo and Dr. Qi. The particular project focuses on various aspects of communication, networking, and AI-based decision-making autonomous vehicle systems.

Job Duties:

• Developing communication protocols for 5G- 6G- connected autonomous vehicles and AI-based methods to optimize the communication, networking and control in autonomous vehicle systems 30%
• Developing grant proposals to secure external funding 25%
• Dissemination of research progress through conference papers, journal articles, and software package. 25%
• Collaboration with other groups within and beyond the institution, including interfacing with both academic partners and industry collaborators. 10%
• Mentoring graduate and undergraduate student researchers. 10%

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Engineering or closely related field
