The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and presenting research on statistical methodology. As a member of the team, the Postdoctoral research Associate will also be writing and publishing papers, collaborating with other research team members, and creating software. What You Need to Know

Salary: $60,000 anually

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Appropriate PhD and no experience is required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • PhD in statistics or biostatistics or relevant areas

  • Previous research experiences in spatial statistics, Bayesian statistics, and graph models

  • Strong programming skills (R or Python)

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Conducts and presents research on statistical methodology.

  • Writing, Publishing, and Collaboration: Writes and publishes papers. Collaborates with other research team members within TAMU.

  • Creating Software: Creates software for the wide dissemination of the research and performs other duties as assigned.
