Position Summary | The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC) and Department of Internal Medicine, Division The position includes the following responsibilities: Teaching, clinical preceptorship, and mentorship of medical students, The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center is the Official Cancer Center of New Mexico and the only National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center in a 500-mile radius. Its 125 board-certified oncology specialty |
Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications: 1)Experience in cancer clinical trials with a focused interest in hematologic malignancies; 2)MD degree or equivalent; 3)3-year residency in internal medicine and 3-year fellowship in Hematology or Medical Oncology; 4)New Mexico license to practice medicine; and 5)Must be eligible to work in the U.S
Preferred Qualifications: 1)An equivalent of one year or more of full-time stem cell transplant patient care experience; 2)Experience with the operations of a clinical or research Cell Therapy Laboratory; 3)Experience as a clinical investigator or translational researcher; 4)A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities. |
