Essential Job Duties

This employee will communicate with groups and individuals who are requesting a tour of the NC State dairy farm and Randleigh Dairy Heritage Museum. This individual must be willing to work with children as well as adults who want to visit the farm. Schedule using google calendar and other scheduling software will be required.
Lead and guide tours of the dairy farm and museum. Ensure bio-security and safety of all visitors and employees. Invoice and take payments from tour groups. Train NCSU student employees to learn how to answer questions about the dairy industry and the museum.

Assist the Dairy Education Coordinator with larger group functions as well as special education functions, ie. Cow Camp. Assist and help implement new educational programs to help accomplish the outreach mission.

This position will also assist the Dairy Farm Manager with farm-related job duties as needed.
