Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, led by Dr. Misra, invites applications for a Research Associate (postdoctoral) position to work on research in birth outcomes specific to Black families. We aim to publish manuscripts using data from prospective cohort studies with the goal of elucidating social and psychosocial factors that impact birth outcomes.
The initial appointment is for one year at 100% with possibility of reappointment dependent on job performance and available funding.

Required Degree
Doctorate -biomedical sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in at least one statistical software program
- Familiar with literature on health disparities in birth outcomes
