Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Under the general supervision of the principal investigator (PI), Alexey A. Petrov, this individual will conduct research in theoretical particle physics and deliver presentations of the results at scientific workshops and conferences. Primary job duties include developing frameworks for phenomenological approaches to experiments in flavor violation and performing necessary calculations of experimental observables. |

Minimum Qualifications | Ph.D. degree in Physics or a closely related field. |
Preferred Qualifications | Knowledge of theoretical particle physics, mathematics, numerical methods, and computing sufficient for research in theoretical particle physics. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Expertise in theoretical particle physics, which could have been gained during the normal course of a doctoral degree program. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. |
