Full Job Description
This position will cultivate the holistic growth and development of students through leadership, excellence, access, and the freedom to learn in a supportive, communicative, diverse, and caring environment. We enhance the student experience by offering comprehensive support and resources, providing co-curricular opportunities, and fostering a sense of belonging and care
- Works closely with personnel from every administrative area represented on campus to provide an environment that is safe, conducive to learning, physically attractive, growing, active, and relevant to the College and surrounding community.
- Directly responsible for student engagement/activities, student conduct, student organizations, and accessibility services.
- Works with appropriate College administrators to ensure student, faculty, and staff compliance with College policies and procedures as well as all relevant federal and state laws and mandates.
- Develops campus life programs that includes events, speakers, and activities designed to support instructional programs, and cultivates positive collegial experiences.
- Provides administrative oversight to the following functions: Student conduct, student activities, conferences, and community programming and other appropriate student life-related programming.
- Creates a student learning environment that fosters strong character, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to personal discipline and excellence.
- Supervises all staff in their direct line of supervision.
- Works to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements of accrediting agencies, including SACSCOC.
